Today, the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) endorsed George Santos, the Republican candidate for New York’s Third Congressional District. This is the third major law enforcement endorsement of the past week, following Nassau County Detectives Association and Superior Officers Association.
“I am proud to receive the endorsement from the members of the Suffolk County PBA who courageously protect the residents they serve,” Santos said. “The safety and well-being of citizens ensure thriving communities. It is my commitment to work collaboratively with our men and women in uniform, and recognize their bravery and sacrifice every day. We need to make sure officers can and want to do their job. We can’t let radical pro-criminal elites, like Robert Zimmerman, be elected to office. Robert Zimmerman’s policies are dangerous for our families and our neighborhoods,” Santos concluded.
Law enforcement knows that George Santos will be unwavering in his support for police and always have their back. This is a direct contrast to his pro-crime, pro-cashless bail opponent Robert Zimmerman. Zimmerman is backed and controlled by radical, anti-police groups such as the Working Families Party. Robert Zimmerman is strongly supported by Governor Kathy Hochul and her radical policies in which criminals are set free and are put above law-abiding citizens. Hochul’s endorsement is an endorsement Zimmerman is “honored and grateful to have”.
Santos has been endorsed by multiple major law enforcement agencies on Long Island including the Nassau County Detectives Association and Superior Officers Association, as well as prominent leaders such as Congressman Lee Zeldin, Congressman Ronny Jackson, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, the National Republican Congressional Committee, the Republican Party of Nassau County, Ambassador Ric Grenell, and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. He has garnered local and national support in his bid to represent the people of New York’s Third Congressional District in Congress.
