The New York Post Endorses George Santos for Congress

The over 200 year old New York Paper backs Republican George Santos in his bid for Congress in New York’s Third Congressional District

(Oyster Bay, October 17th, 2022) – The New York Post has just announced that they are endorsing Republican George Santos for Congress in New York’s Third Congressional District:

“Republican George Santos, the son of Brazilian immigrants who became an investor, has centered his campaign on fighting crime, making America energy-independent and promoting economic growth to keep Long Island affordable. His opponent, longtime Democratic Party activist Robert Zimmerman, is another abortion-abortion-abortion candidate.”

“I am honored to have the support of the New York Post, a publication that has been writing about the issues that voters care about in New York and on Long Island for hundreds of years,” Santos said. “They recognize that unlike my opponent, I will focus on the real issues facing our district. Inflation, crime, and the cost of energy will be my top priorities when elected to Congress.”

The New York Post joins several major Law Enforcement organizations in Nassau endorsing Santos, including the Nassau County PBA, Nassau County Detectives’ Association, Nassau County Superior Officers Association, and the Nassau County Correctional Officers Association. He also has the support of the Suffolk County PBA. Santos has also been endorsed by prominent leaders such as Congressman Lee Zeldin, Congressman Ronny Jackson, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, the National Republican Congressional Committee, the Republican Party of Nassau County, Ambassador Ric Grenell, and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
