Robert Zimmerman is touting the support of Randi Weingarten, President of the AFT, who shutdown schools in 2020 and left children behind in education.
(Oyster Bay, October 18th, 2022) – With just over three weeks to go before Election Day, Democrat Robert Zimmerman is choosing to sidestep voters and campaign directly with Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, a far-left radical that led the effort to keep schools closed all across the country in 2020, crushing the ability of millions of children across the country to learn. Zimmerman expresses his Support for this radical agenda:

Randi has been a strong proponent of limiting parents’ involvement in their children’s education and champions an unhinged curriculum to be a part of the classroom. Weingarten did everything possible to keep schools shut down. Under her regime, parents are treated with contempt for trying to be appropriately involved in their children’s schooling.
