NYS PUBLIC SCHOOLS MAKE A LEFTWARD PUSH AWAY FROM EDUCATION TOWARDS INDOCTRINATION

New York’s 3rd Congressional District, September 15, 2020 – Our education system plays a major part in shaping our youth. Unfortunately, the definition of “education” has converted from teaching our children how to learn to influencing how they think.

“The Democrats know they have lost on the issues, so their next best chance at winning is brainwashing our youth with their ideology. Our education system should not be used as a political tool. Instead, we should be focusing on why our education system ranks outside the top ten in the world. We are the United States of America, the greatest country in the world. Yet, our education system has not held up to the American standard. The Democrats have politicized the curriculum to the detriment of our youth,” says NY-3 Congressional Candidate George Santos.

“The Next Outbreak? We Are Not Ready,” “How Racism Makes Us Sick,” and “George Floyd, Minneapolis Protests, Ahmaud Arbery and Amy Cooper” by far-left activist Trevor Noah are all books on the curriculum for a public school in the Half Hollow Hills Central School District in Long Island.

“I want to know who is responsible for attempting to indoctrinate our children with the belief that America is a country filled with ‘decades of racist federal policy,’ as I watched in one video. Another gentlemen was justifying rioting if you are not happy with society in another video!” said Vincent, whose son is a current student at the school.

If we want our youth to be successful and thrive in our great nation then we must empower them with the tools to do so. By adding these types of books to their curriculum, we are turning them into professional protestors and agitators like the ones we see destroying city after city.

“We must take our schools back, and we must do it now. And as usual, when New York families need a voice, Tom Suozzi is silent, just like he has been on defunding the police, bail reform, and the encroaching Socialist threat. Our children must be afforded the opportunity to earn a world-class education. That’s the cornerstone to achieving success and that’s why I’m running for Congress—to preserve the American Dream for the next generation,” says NY-3 Congressional Candidate George Santos.
